Spot round allotment for JEE Main 2014 to begin tomorrow
According to the official website, the seat allotment for JEE Main 2014 spot round will be released on 8th August, 2014. The last date to register online and fill choices for the spot round was 5th August, 2014. If a candidate has failed to explicitly lock his/her choices by 5th August, 2014 till 5.00 PM, his/her last saved choices would have automatically been locked.
The students are required to report at the allotted institute against spot round from 8th August to 12th August, 2014 once the allotment of seats is released. The Central Board of Seat Allocation (CSAB) declared the result of JEE Main fourth round. The candidates who didn’t get any seat can apply again for spot round. The CSAB spot round consists of vacant seats available in NITs/IIITs and other GFTIs after internal sliding.
The admission on allotment will be provisional which has to be confirmed by the institute concerned after document verification and payment of balance fee as reported by a daily. Also, the admitted JEE Main 2014 candidates need to contact their respective institutes to obtain the internal sliding results, which were declared on August 2, 2014.
