CLAT 2015 admit cards to be released on April 19

The admit cards for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2015 will be available for download from the afternoon of 19th April, 2015. Earlier the admit cards were scheduled to be made available on 15th April, 2015 but the same has now been postponed till 19th April, 2015.

According to a notification on the official website, “It is for the general information of all the CLAT-15 applicants that due to the reason of last date for submission of CLAT-15 application form being extended till 15.04.2015, timeline fixed earlier as 15.04.2015 for making admit cards live is also re-scheduled. Now the admit cards will be available for downloading from the afternoon of 19.04.2015.”

Paper pattern:

Undergraduate programme:

English including Comprehension: 40 Marks

General Knowledge and Current Affairs: 50 Marks

Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability): 20 Marks

Legal Aptitude: 50 Marks

Logical Reasoning: 40 Marks

This exam will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions in total, carrying one mark each. The paper will have to be solved in a duration of two hours. There shall be a system of negative marking wherein 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Post graduate programme:

Constitutional Law: 50

Jurisprudence: 50

Other law subjects such as Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, Family Law, property Law, IPR etc.: 50

There will be a total of 150 questions, carrying one mark each, to be solved in duration of two hours. There shall be a system of negative marking wherein 0.25 marks each will be deducted for each wrong answer to the multiple choice questions.
